Container Silk Screening

An overview of what screen-printed decoration can do for a container programme.

Container Silk Screening

Screen printing applies a stencilled ink layer through a mesh screen, one pass per colour. On cylindrical containers the screen rotates against the part, which is why the method suits bottles and jars so well.

The result is a durable, opaque mark with strong colour saturation. For glass, the ink is cured to a ceramic finish; for plastic, cure is matched to the resin so the print flexes with the part rather than flaking.
